Mindfulness techniques have been proven to be one of the most effective ways to treat chronic or persistent pain and chemical dependency, as well as depression and anxiety.

ROOTS-CPR uses meditation and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an evidence-based approach developed to help people use their own breathing and internal focus to lower stress and anxiety centered around the pain experience and the related co-occurring issues.
